New season, new website: pre-registrations are open

The new season is taking shape and the groups are starting to fill up. Pre-registrations are open: several teams can still welcome new players, whether you are discovering basketball or have played before.

All training sessions take place at the primary school (CCS) in Arzier-Le Muids.

The list below reflects the actual state of registrations at the moment you read this page: as soon as a team is full, it no longer appears as available.

What a season at the club looks like

A season is first of all a regular commitment: one training session per week for most teams, two for the U12. Players work on the fundamentals — dribbling, passing, shooting, defence — and above all learn to play together.

The season takes a different shape depending on the category:

• U8, U10 and U12 are licensed with the Association Vaudoise de Basketball (AVB) and play matches and tournaments.
• The U10–U12 girls' team focuses on fun, team spirit and learning the fundamentals, without competition for now.
• Basket Détente is basketball for pleasure, without competitive pressure, open to everyone.

A new website for this season

This season comes with another change: Arzier Basket has a new website. We tried to make the club's information easier to find and to read, from a computer as well as from a phone.

You will now find:

• the teams, each with its training days, times and venues;
• the coaches, with their photo and profile;
• the match calendar and results, downloadable as PDF for the whole club or for a single team;
• the tournaments and the club news;
• practical information: fees, statutes, committee and contact;
• online pre-registration, available directly from each team page.

The site is available in French and English, with a light and a dark theme.
